On the Web page of the World Youth Academy of Beijing I found these two entries about the teachers. I think they do not teach spelling in this academy.
Teacher A. I came to China as a towist in 1997 and became "infected" with the beauty and complexity of this great country. I
Teacher B. I teach Geography and History for the DP. I have taught English throughout Europe, particularly Italy, Spin ands Greece, where I was able to realize my dream of living in the areas I fell in love while studying the classics. |

HI..i am from malaysia and now studying in TESL (teaching english as second language) ..i have read your story about two teachers who are just ignored their spelling.I agree with you that they may be does not exposed very much to the importance of spelling...but, we can not blame them at all because there may be typing error, right?? from my own opinion, the spelling is so important because when we spelled some words wrong, the readers will be misunderstood about what we really want t to say.I think that's all that can give my opinion.sorry if there are some mistakes, i admit that i am not really good in english. |
