Everyone has different definition for the word "sympathy", some definitions of sympathy are positive while some tend to be negative.
I think sympathy is a kind of complex emotion, and it is hard to give an absolute definition for sympathy. Is anyone willing to talk about your opinion about sympathy?  |

I think Sympathy is understanding the other person's situation and be willing to help.
Also, there's a word Empathy which seems confusing with sympathy, but empathy means feeling the pain of other person.
