Hello everyone.

What is the difference in nuance between #1 and #2?

Jane was running around the track with her hair ( ).
1. blowing in the wind
2. blown by the wind

Hi fw,

1. Jane was running around the track with her hair blowing in the wind.
You envision Jane's hair flowing with the breeze of the wind while she runs, perhaps in a rhythmic or pretty-picture fashion.

2. Jane was running around the track with her hair blown by the wind.
Jane was running, and the wind actively blows her hair around, perhaps annoying her.

There are many other interpretations.
