Are the sentences grammatical?
a. It's a pity that Mary lost the game.
b. It's a pity how Mary lost the game.
c. It's a pity when Mary lost the game.

(A) and (B) are right, (C) isn't. It would have to be: It was a pity when Mary lost the game.
