Dear teachers,
When we speak about the person who is older then someone, is it the same to use older and elder. Or the elder is the oldest one?

Elder in this context, means the older of two people, especially when they are related.
e.g. My elder brother.
Older is the comparative form of old.
e.g. He is older than I am.
That car is older than mine (but not elder). |
