Dear English teachers,
Which sentence is grammatically correct?
Since that night I don't let the cat go out at night.
Since that night I haven't let the cat go out at night. (and I don't think of doing it in the future)
Since that night I won't let the cat go out at night.
or Ever since that night .....
I'm confused because 'since' normally indicates the use of present perfect.
Could you help me?

Ever since = since.
I agree that proper grammar would require present perfect as in your second example; however the other two do sound like common utterances expressing will rather than fact.
