Is there the best plece to put adverbs, excluding ones that tell how often, when, and where?
Examples of this is;
- It will be SURELY beneficial, or SURELY it will be beneficial, or it will SURELY be beneficial.
- The difference of our tastes SOMETIMES poses a problem, or SOMETIMES the difference of our tastes causes a problem.

Allouie:
There is no best place to put an adverb. All of your sentences are good. Therefore, I wouldn't worry about this. There are plenty of other things with English grammar to worry about.

| To be on the safe side, your second and third choices sound more natural. |

KazAV,
Thank you for your advice.
Let me confirm to make sure.
You mean, the second and the third are;
-SURELY it will be beneficial.
-It will SURELY be beneficial.
Is the following OK as well?
-It SURELY is beneficial. _________________ YUKIKO |

It will be surely.... the word "surly " is an adverb of degree which is normally put after the verb. What is the verb here ? it must be the word " be " the word " will" is an auxiliary.
It will surly be.... that sounds fine to me though it didnt follow the rule.
Surly, it will be..... the word " surly " here functions as an adverb of comment. The adverbs of comment are placed at the beginning of the sentence.
For example, luckily, i was able to come to the presentation. |

| Yes, that's ok too although you have changed tense from future to present. I would prefer however, "Surely it is beneficial". |

Welkins2139 and KazAV,
Thank you very much for your comments.
Putting adverbs in front of sentences seems to be better in order to ged rid of risks. _________________ YUKIKO |
