Dear friends,

Would you please tell me if sentences (b) are correct?

1) What would have happened if they hadnt got a receipt?
a) Suppose they hadnt got a receipt, what would have happened?
b) What would have happened suppose they hadnt got a receipt? = totally wrong?

2) Treat my home in the same way that you would treat your own.
a) Treat my home as though it were your own.
b) Treat my home as though you were treating your own. = correct ?

Thanks again for your help.
Hela

Treat my home as if you were treating your own.

For both the sentences, 'if' is the conjuction you ought to use because they are in the subjunctive mood. [/i]

In fact I need to rephrase the first sentences with either "suppose" or "as though".

See you Smile
