I want to know the meaning of "With all the pins to knck over" in the following sentence (The sentence is about the bowling game). Thank you

A pin is what falls over when you hit it in bowling, usually 10 in tenpin bowling. "With all the pins to knock over" means that they still had all the pins left and had to "knock them over" or make them fall.
What context have you taken this from? I am thinking this may be in a metaphorical sense in which case it may have a different meaning. |
