Hello sihan - Sounds like an exciting opportunity for you.
Liberal Arts - courses (classes) from different disciplines (subjects)designed to develop a synthesis of knowledge - analysis, critical thinking, problem solving, communication, etc.
A typical program(me) would likely include : English, Literature, History, Humanities, Logic, Ethics, a Foreign Language, etc.
Let me know what courses you find interesting, or if you need more help. :) Philo |

hi,pilo, thank you very much.I'm sorry I didn't visit here after I raised this question. what you said about liberal arts intrigues a lot. but it does not sound like a postgraduate programm. my bachelor major is education and I'm going to be a english teacher in the future. it will be better if I get a master degree, but I don't think I can bear learning educational theories for another 2 years, so I wanna study something else. I'm interested in literature, culture, socialogy, women's study. can you give me some advice? |

Hello sihan - You can earn a postgraduate deegree in any of the subjects you mentioned. Check the course offerings and degree requirements on the website of the school you are interested in attending. Let me know what you decide. Philo |
