Dear Teachers,

1. The price of freedom in the US comes in having to weed out the bad stuff from the good.
- What does come in mean here?

2. You should decide whats right for them before making bad choices, Im all for that.
- What does Im all for that mean here?

3. I know its hard to watch your daughter throw her life around.
- What does throw her life around mean here?

4. My son! After school go straight home and do not loiter / do not hang about, ok?

Thanks a lot to Teachers,

Stevenukd.

=consists of

= I agree with that, I fully support that.

I've never heard "throw [one's] life around"; there is an expression, "throw [one's] life away". If somebody is throwing their life away, it means they are wasting their time doing pointless things -or- they're taking illegal drugs, getting into trouble, or doing other things that will ruin their future.

4. My son! After school go straight home and do not loiter / do not hang about, ok?
"Dont hang around"= most natural to me

Thanks a lot to Teachers,
