I want to get information for my essay class.
So, Do you think to know our own country's history is important?
If you think so, Why do you think so?

If you want to know where you are going, it is useful to know where you have been. (That way you can avoid the tragedy of going in circles!)

I think that's important because people from other countrys often think about the history to find the character of a nation. We should know the history because it influence our way of thinking.

Back in my high school years, I was sooo sick of history class. I always fell asleep during the history class.

I remember, once, I fell asleep again in history class, then my teacher woke me up and asked me:"can you tell me what's the name of the first emperor of Qing Dynasty?"

I didn't know the answer, and at that moment, I was still so tired and a little unconscious that I bursted out the teacher's name! he got very furious:"what?? me? the first emperor of Dynasty? listen! he's gone!! but I am still alive!!"

I didn't know what to say, so I said:"sorry, teacher, then I am gone."

I didnt like history lessons during high school times too,but I think we have much lesson to learn from history indeed..
The only problem about history is its reliability I think.
