Hi all,
Is the following sentence grammatically correct?
The creatures were said to be monsters in Loch Ness in Scotland.
If not, how would you correct it?
Thanks in advance.

Correct as is, although you might add a comma after "Ness" for clarity, or you might write it as, "Scotland's Loch Ness." (A loch is a lake.) _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |

.
Although the grammar is correct, what you are trying to say is unclear. I think you have misplaced parts of the sentence; this is how I interpret your intention:
The creatures in Scotland's Loch Ness were said to be monsters.
