There are many good schools in the UK. The best ones are accredited by the British Council.
But did you know. Teachers rarely stay more than 9 months in any of them. Most teachers are hired for the busy summer and then it is goodbye.
So every school is always changing. This means when you pay a lot of money you are usually paying for marketing, location, facilities and brand.
I have worked for three schools in London. I found that the quality of the teachers was similar in all three. In all three the students seemed to have a good time. The big difference was the price, facilities and location.
St Giles College, one of the top schools in London, good facilities near the British museum. But it is expensive.
UIC has a nice location off Oxford Street. It is a little small. Price is medium.
King Street College. Not quite so central. 5 or 6 underground stops from the centre. Honestly it was a bit dirty. But nice garden and very cheap. Good if you plan to stay for a long time.
Hope this helps
