This is the second time in the last few weeks that a question came up with "saloon" instead of "salon" as part of the questioned passage.
A saloon is a tavern / bar / pub. A salon is a place to have hair and nails taken care of -- at least, that's how the terms are used in the U.S. I suppose a place to get a haircut and a whiskey at the same time could make money, though.
I would rewrite the sentence as: "The hairdressers in this hair salon are senior vocational students who major in hair-dressing."
Or: "This salon's hairdressers are all vocational-school seniors majoring in hair-dressing." _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
