In the Name of allah

Shiekh bin Baz (may Allah have Mercy on him) said, The purpose and goal of calling to Allah is to bring the people out of darknesses into to the Light; guiding them to the Truth so that they accept it and are saved from the fire and Allahs anger. It also removes the disbeliever from the darkness of disbelief to the light of guidance, the ignorant from the darkness of ignorance to the light of knowledge, and the sinner from the darkness of sin to the light of obedience. This is the purpose of calling to Allah. The Mighty and Majestic said {الله ولىٌ الذين ءامنوا يخرجهم من الظلمت إلى النور} {Allah is the protector of those that believe. He brings them out of the darknessess into light}.[1] The messengers were sent to bring the people out of darknesses into light. Likewise, the callers of the Truth establish calling to Allah and work energetically to bring the people out of darknesses into the light; saving them from the fire; and from obedience to Shaytaan and desires, to the obedience of Allah and His Messenger.

He also (may Allah have mercy on him) said, The people of today are in dire need of daawah. They have willingness to accept it because of the many callers to falsehood, and also because of the collapse of communism. Because of this great awakening amongst the Muslims, people are ready to accept Islaam, depending on how we spread it to the remaining regions (of the Earth). [2]
