ex)If I have been living here for three years, then I would like to know this city much better.
Let me know if the above example sentence makes sense. If it's right, I'd like to know what it means.
I think it right 'If I had been living here for three years, then I would have known this city much better' instead of the above sentence.

Sorry, but the sentence doesn't sound natural.
Try: "If I lived here for three years, then I would know the city better." Maybe Joe lived here three years but doesn't know the city at all.
