Hi,

In Chinese story, there is a kind of wolf-like animal which has a pair of very short foreleg and always be supported by the wolves, but is very smart. And some Chinese say they actually see them. What do you call them in English?

Thanks.
Tony

What do you mean "supported by the wolves"? The closest animal I can come up with based on "wolf-like animal" and "very smart" is a fox. Have you tried online translator? What's the Chinese character for it?

This animal can not run himself; it needs to put its forelegs on the back of wolves and be carried away.

.
It is apparently a uniquely Chinese mythological beast, Tony. We have no animal like that in our tradition.
