Depends on what you find amazing. Each English novel I read seems to be very good language trainig for me so that I do not really care of what it is. I can definitely recommend Philip Pullman to you and his trylogy- Dark materies (also translated into Polish- Zorza Polnocna, Ostrze Noza, Bursztynowa Luneta).

Hello: everybody!

This is my first message in this site. There are two reason why I sign in this forum. One is to meet friends and also to learn more about English laguage.

I am currently an adult student, studying general academic courses. I am interested to talk to people who have an interest in literature since it is one of our main topic this year.

I agree with Kathy (for short of Katherince Speigel) people have different taste in books or any kind of literature. Myself I enjoy reading adventure stories, like Luis Sachar and John Grisham. :D

I like stranger books, like The World According to Garp, A Prayer For Owen Meany, and Catcher in the Rye. That for me is exciting...

Try to read Ursula LeGuin or Andre Norton if you like fantasy. They are really great!
