Hi, I'm Japanese student
When I went to Australia, I went to the Karaoke with my japanese friends.
Then I saw some Sushi restaurants
Do you see some Japanese culture in your country? |

I have a Sony TV, A Honda car and a bunch of my friends love Anime.
There's a lot of Japanese things in America.
There are a lot of Sushi resturants. They're owned by Japanese immegrants or people of Japanese decent. But the food is different than actual Japanese sushi. I think what we call sushi is actually called Maki. And some people are hesitant to try sushi just because its raw fish.
Anime is really popular, especialy with Asian kids. Some of the popular ones are Rorouni Kenshin, Naruto, and Inuyasha. My favorite is Fruits Basket.
My school also offers a Japanese language course (that isn't that common though) and the teacher is from Japan.
In San Fransico theres a large Japanese population so they have all sorts of Japanese festivals and parades.

hi! I'm french, and In France, we have sushi maki a lot of japanese restaurants, when I was young on TV we had a lot of mangas like Cat's Eye and Dragon Ball etc, and now, mangas (books) are very very popular!!! more and more every day. I think that makes that some readers of mangas want to learn japanese, and learning japanese is more popular than before...
I'm learning Japanese, and I want a Japanese penfriend!! if you are japanese, write me there, [email protected] or we can talk with the messenger!

I work at the US Corporate Headquarters for Mitsubishi Electric. I am surrounded by relaxed Japanese business culture every day. It's quite fun. _________________ Daniel
