In Japan, breakfast is very important. It is the source of a day. And it is also said that we have to eat fifty kinds of food per a day. So we have a well-balanced food every morning. It is basically rice, miso-soup, natto and pickles. We want to eat a lot of kinds of food as many as we can, so mother makes miso-soup with lots of vegetables.
Recently, however, Japanese teenagers tend not to eat breakfast or they tend to eat only a slice of bread. Because of this, their brain cant work very much, and they cant concentrate the lesson in the school. Therefore, teachers also teach their students the importance of having breakfast.
