What are the diffrences between crush, crash and clash. I always get confused in differentiating them. _________________ Hiromichi |

crush = to compress or break into small peices, example: crush the bottle, crush the toy with a stone.
crash = damage on impact (involves momentum and impact), example: the car carshed into the tree, the plane crashed.
clash = damage on impact, but not much used with vehicular accidents. We can say the meteors clashed.
(There are more connotations to each, but I preseme you are confused about the related connotations, so I've explained only that.) |
