1)The combined effects of skin aging can cause increased bruising and skin tears.
(In this sentence, what does "skin tears" mean?)
2)The teenagers are hungry for role models and can be rather indiscriminate about where they find them.
(Does "be indiscriminate about where they find them" mean " no matter who they are"?)

1. "Skin tears" means cuts in the skin. It isn't referring to the tears that come out when you cry, although it may look that way at first.
2. It means that they may not be too choosy about whom they choose to emulate (copy). It's great if they are discriminate / choosy about the people they pick to copy, but unfortunately, they usually are not.
