Dear Teachers, which one is correct of the following sentences?
1. He always watches TV to stay well-informed about the current events.
2. He always watches TV to stay well-informed on the current events.

I think either "about" or "on" would be fine here, but usually you would leave out the "the" when talking about current events.
Most natural: "He always watches TV to stay well-informed about current events." "He always watches TV to keep up with current events."
As for your topic heading, there is no such thing as "informated." I think your fingers just kept going with that word.  _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
