Hi, evryone!
Do you say "I've lived in Korea since three years ago", instead of saying "I've lived in Korea for three years"?
Back in high school, I learned that "since ... ago" is not used in authentic English, although this appears gramatically correct. However, I happened to find this in a textbook some of the editors of which is native English teachers.

Usually, you will hear, "I've lived here since 2003," but it is understandable if you hear, "I've lived here since three years ago."
More common would be either, "I've lived here for three years" or "I moved here three years ago." _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
