Please explain the meaning of "To top it off" in the following sentences.

Due to their active participation in international art fairs and their open perspectives, younger artists seem to be quicker in grasping the global art trend. To top it off, they come with a much stronger self-awareness which plays a role in drawing international attention to Korean contemporary art. |

Hi,
You could substitute "additionally" for "to top it off" in this sentence. To "top something off" is to fill something that is already partly full all the way.
"To top it off" is frequently used for the final reason in an argument where a number of other reasons have already been present just like you would top off (or top up) a cup of coffee that is already part full. It can be used to introduce the final reason that completes your argument.
