In this sentence, what's the meaning of "nearly"? And what's "nearly" modifying? |

Hi sejpdw,
"I have come to realize that teenagers do not receive nearly enough counseling."
Enough is an adjective modifying counseling and nearly is an adverb modifying the adjective enough.
