My dad got a job in Japan and so we moved here 3 months ago. Japan doesn't speak a lot of english
so I resort to going online and chatting with friends because I also miss home. I made and found
friends at some sites, including dating sites and my parents don't like it. I tell them that I am merely making friends and not really DATING on these dating sites such as myspace.com, itzamatch.com, etc. They see all those adult pics and right away, they conclude that I'm having relationships with strangers online, which may be true but it's all been safe. I am not stupid and if I get any sexual solicitations, I block them out right away. I am lonely here and I'm just trying to make friends in every way I can but they don't get it. For them, dating sites are all
evil.
What do i do? |
