Thsi wouldn`t be a necessity / need because this illness is very treatable.
Is "necesity" or " need" correct? Or both??? |

Sorry, but neither is a natural expression. You could say:
Thousands of people suffer from depression. That is unnecessary, because this illness is very treatable.
