Please, could you tell me if there is a comma after 'nowadays' and if the article before teenagers is acceptable.
Nowadays the teenagers tend to imitate their idols of pop or TV, and so, the young people's attempt to become independent ends in dependence of the commercial clothing industry.

I think a comma after "nowadays" is optional.
Don't use "the" before "teenagers". |
