i don't think so ....do you know "survival of the fittest"? If the heritage and culture are best, they will survive. So i think you is borrowing trouble by yourself!

why should the culture be the best in order to survive..each coummunity has the right to preserve thier own history and hieratage weather others see it in a positive or negative way...

it's the community who desides not another coummunity from another cultuer and sets the rules of the best cultuer and the worst..beacuse thier is not such athing as the best culture...

some cultuer lost in time but NOT DELETED...

I believe that its true that each comunity has his own culture, but I think its good to improve new things to make his live style better. So you can improve things from other cultures without affect your own culture!!!

I agree with sun_q, it is not for anyone to change the traditions and culture of a certain society or country. It's for the people of that culture to decide what they want changing and what they want kept, others should not interfere unless it happens naturally, with the intermingling of different cultures. After all, how are we to understand other cultures otherwise?

I agree with Sarraa and Sun_q.

Besides, globalization is all about power, the one who gains more power is the one who will make all the others do whatever he wants. To improve you don't have to through away your culture, but take all the good things from others, analize them and make your own conclusions.

Bye bye! Wink

It's the survival of the fittest! A little bit sad from my point of view, Crying or Very sad because past cultures are very interesting. You can learn a lot from them.

sosufosos26:
"If the heritage and culture are best, they will survive."

--> Shocked On what base can one "evaluate" a culture? What kind of culture is considered the best?
