Dear teachers,
I have a question about a meaning of the below sentence, in particular "robust volume growth and better pricing ".
"The combination of robust volume growth and better pricing environment have helped the Global IT Services and Products division in a good performance for the second consecutive quarter ended March 31, 2004."
*robust volume growth ... volume of what?
*better pricing ... Does is mean price is up or down?
Please give me your advices.
Thank you.
With regards. |

1...volume of sales, the amount of service and product sold
2...the price is up
Selling more products and services and getting a higher price for them helped that division perform well. |

There's a subject-verb agreement error in the quoted sentence. The singular auxiliary verb "has" should be used. _________________ Mary W. Ng
