For me is better Harry Potter because of the action and the mistery that this represent is unique.

It's hard to compare becuase they're totally different and I love both of them.. But I'd cast my vote to the LOTR.

There is a novel better than two novels you mentioned, that is "the Chronicles of Narnia".
"The Lion, the witch, and the wardrobe"is the second volume of it.
Like "the Lord of the Ring", CON is a fairy tale. But more interesting.

Yes, I prefer Harry Potter...
I think Rowling writes better, she makes me pay attention to each detail.
And, ah, I can't stop reading Harry Potter books Shocked

Not much interest in literature! Read Lord of the Rings...start with The Hobbit, you can't go wrong. Potter books are good, too.
