Hello,

If I someone says, "What time is it?". Is is ok to asnwer something like, "It's time for luch", "It's time to go home." or "It's time for you to stop asnking that question."?

Is there a better or more natural question than "What time is it?" in oredr to get the exact same answers?

Thank you for you help... whoever you may be!

You can answer as you suggest, but normally, the actual time is what they are looking for.

Corrections and suggestions: If someone says, "What time is it?". Is it ok to answer something like, "It's time for lunch", "It's time to go home." or "It's time for you to stop asking that question."? Is there a better or more natural question than "What time is it?" in order to get the exact same answers?

Thank you for the answer, asterix. Very Happy

myprofe, I was in a rush before work when I wrote my question. Had I taken a minute to review my message I would have found those silly mistakes. Embarassed I'm sure you meant well, but you forgot the essential: you didn't answer the question! Wink Perhaps you considered that what asterix answered was correct and there was nothing else to add, but your opinion would have been welcome... and still is.

So, if I wanted to get those answers, is there a different way that I would ask my question?
