Hello,
Are am/pm supposed to have dots? I have seen many native speakers write "am" and "pm". When we write formal letters, is that acceptable?
Thank you,

I believe most people either use "a.m. / p.m." in lower case with periods or "AM / PM, A.M. / P.M." in upper case with or without periods.
A.M. stands for ante meridien, P.M. for post meridien. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
