Bob just sent me his baby girl's picture! OMG! she is so cuteeeeee! as I predicted before, his baby is an eye candy indeed! Now Bob is busy with his diaper work! fortunately, he got a laborious maid who can take over his task.

Lucky man!

Let's applaud!

PS: this cute baby's name is Alice!

Thank you all very much for your kind words and warm wishes. The baby is doing well, and sleeps now so I can take a second here to write.

Our "maid" was really just my aunt who came with my dad to stay with us a few days. She was a big help for a while, but now has returned home. So all duties now fall to us. Despite having her guts split open just 8 days ago, mommy is being a real trooper, though a bit slowed down from post-op (after operation) infection complications. We'll be seeing a doctor this afternoon about that.

It's a strange and difficult experience, but we get lots of encouragement from many mothers who have "been there, done that", and tell us that all our little troubles are common and will go away in time. In the mean time, we sleep when the baby sleeps (somewhat). I just wish she would sleep more between midnight and 4 a.m.! Crying or Very sad

As a proud papa, I hope you don't mind my boasting when I say YES!
She is a sweetie little hybrid. Dark brown Asian eyes like her mommy, her black hair has natural brown highlights, and fair skin that turns bright red when she starts crying (like me when I get embarrassed). We think she gets that last one from my mother's mother's side of the family. And though it is too early to tell (she's only 9 days old now), it is looking like she may be left-handed like both her mommy and daddy. Very Happy

Bob, what a qualified dad you are!

as for Baby's appearance, please believe me, she is really good-looking!! many people don't know how to identify babies' appearance because they look exactly the same!! however, I am a mom already, and I am a Doctor, so I know how pretty your baby is!! from the picture you sent to me!

PS: left-handed people are mostly gorgeous at playing table tennis! just see how many Chinese table tennis champins are left-handed!!! more than 80%. and they are smart!

Lucky Bob, he is still ecstatic! I guess he will take time to recover from his ecstatic situation!!

Interesting you should say that. My wife was the team captain of her high school table tennis club.

Be careful what you wish for! (I may know some single guys. Wink )
But if you are serious, when you graduate university you might consider looking into Cherry Blossoms. I know a guy or two who found their match through online matchmaking companies. But be careful. You never know what kind of "players" (liars and perverts) may be writing to you.

If your spoken English is even only half as good as your written English, you would have no problems. Very Happy

Thank you. The baby is the healthiest of us all Exclamation The first 2 weeks were very stressful. Alice was refusing to breastfeed Sad (human milk is much much more healthy for a baby than artificial formula milk). You can imagine how that would hurt the feelings of a new mommy Crying or Very sad. But eventually the Lactation Consultant (breastfeeding specialist) explained that my wife could use an electric pump to produce her milk and mix it with artificial formula to feed to the baby with a regular baby bottle. That reduced our worries and stress, and now we are doing much better. Feeding time for Alice is not such a stressful fight any more.

Hey Element! Thanks. Good to hear from you. How have you been?

Let's see, if this link works, you should be able to see my little girl, Alice, sleeping in her bassinet.

Gah! Link isn't working. Sad
