actually in my opinion, grammar is hard compare to vocabulary.
cos, vocab we can learn any time, in public converations, classroom lessons, and so on. but grammar we only can learn through teachers teaching pocess. we also can learn grammar through other readings and so on. but, still we need to do more practice to mastery the grammar. so it is hard to learn grammar compare to the vocab.

I'd say that grammar is important, but not the most important thing in learning English. Fluency in conversation is more important in my opinion.

If you want to get some grammar practice in a more fun way, try my comic...

There are lots of fun sites on the internet that can make grammar learning less of a boring task. Have a look at towerofenglish.com too.

Yes,I think so.Grammer is difficult. But it is important!

Though it is difficult,we should learn.Try,try to put your interesting in it.
I think if you want to do a thing well.First, you should be interested in it!

Yup, grammar is very important and difficult. I think it's the first thing you should learn in a language then comes the vocabulary.

Improving your vocabulary is no sweat compared to grammar. In the English language, it can be confusing - there's the subject-verb agreement and the conjuctions(which is my weakness when it comes to English), and then the pluralization of nouns(speacial nouns, etc..), when to use adjectives and adverbs... It's a long way to go!

In my opinion is very important learn grammar to write and speak correct. But I think vocabulary is priority to estabilish a communication.
The grammar is more difficult and the vocabulary is easier.
But either are necessary. We need try, try and try to get what we want to learn!

I'm a brazilian student of english language and I can say:

GRAMMAR IS BORING! but it's nescessary!

there is no conditions of learning any language without learning some grammar.

and also there is no way to understand something that has maaany grammar errors! you just don't know what the hell the person wants to say!

it's boring, but's nescessary and (I can say it because I'm brazilian!) in languages like english it's not so difficult as it is in PORTUGUESE!!!! Shocked

portuguese classes freak me out!!!! Evil or Very Mad there are so many nonsense rules, stupid ways for constructing phrases the way we don't speak!

why they do this with us poor students???

don't know and I think NO ONE KNOWS!

Grammar sucks. But it's necessary, anyway. I don't spend too much time on it, I prefer speaking and learning englis in life. Grammar books won't teach me what a song or a simple english text would.
That's just my opinion, take it easy.

I think grammar is boring, but is very important. If we don't know it, we can't comunicate well. And I prefer English grammar than Portuguese grammar, because Portuguese grammar is much harder!

Well, I agree with Prasniski, I'm his classmate and I must say, our portuguese classes are very, VERY boring, but in english it's really necessary, sometimes I'm playing an online game and somebody says something that I can't even have an idea of what the hell that person wanted to say. Grammar is boring but important, what can we do? study only.

Hello!!! I'm a brazilian's student and I agree. Grammar is very, very important, but is very boring. But if we compare english's grammar with portuguese's grammar, the english's grammar ins't complicate. The english grammar is very easy comparate with the portuguese grammar.

Since we're having fun....

Here's a link to a cartoon my kids did in 2001. Actually they did a whole series of cartoons when they were in high school (the drawings got better as they went along, but some of the cartoons have high school slang in them!) Anyway, this one is about grammar. See if you "get it" (understand). If not, ask and I can explain.
