I am curious Blossom, how bad is it really? When I was driving with some friends in Shanghai, they said it a few times when other drivers were really bad. _________________ I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.

It is a very bad thing to say, but the best way of looking at is is the way Bud, Lorikeet, and the others look upon words like s h i t and f u c k.
Lots of people say it but they only say it when certain people are around. Taxi-drivers use it a lot, but it is safe to say it is used only by uncultured people. Do not say in front of your mother or anyone else's mother.

Thanks Blossom. Learning swear words in another language is probably the hardest thing to do, cause there are so many ways to use them and if you make even a small mistake, it can be very, very bad. _________________ I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.

RedRose: what do you think of the use of the phrase "Ni ma de?"
Do you ever use it? |
