| I suddenly recall HuJinTao has say a sentence about the PLA,he say that the PLA must have the ability of winning a war,Does the war really break out between Chinese mainland and TaiWan? |

If You felt I like to pretend I am more exellent than you, I apologize.
We are here from different countries and different backgrounds.

Hello,
I hope you do not mind if I share my thoughts with you.
I am an American and believe me, most of us hope that our government will not attack anyone! Most Americans want the government to get out of Iraq no matter what happens with the oil.
Please do not worry that America will attack your country. The American people are already very upset that our government is keeping our soldiers in Iraq. They would be outraged if the government attacked anyone else! The government will not do something that would make so many Americans angry. The people in the government want to be popular with the people so the people will vote for them again.
In America we hear that many people in China fear we will attack their country. I can understand why this fear exists, but I do NOT believe this will happen! It's sad when people fear what another country will do to them. I wish Chinese people could know how many Americans want to be friends with China. That might help.
Who knows what may happen in the future, with crazy terrorists running around? But for now please understand that most people here want to be friends with ALL countries and we are very sad that this is so difficult to achieve.
I agree with joon_star!

If you mean George Bush, I agree with you, but the vote was very very close and now his popularity rating is very low. For the record, I did not vote for him and I told everyone I knew not to vote for him.
Sixty years ago the world was very different, but not so long ago that we cannot look back and remember. Americans are very different than the Germans of sixty years ago. I hope in a few years time a new American president will help to heal the damage Bush has caused.
I want to be proud to be an American and sometimes lately I feel ashamed of what my government has done. |

I hope a man or a woman whom you like be the president of your country next time.
Before Bush, I respected America, I always tried to learn and love America, and I believe Whatever America does is justice.
After Bush, I don't belive that what America's doing is justice anymore.
I hope The next President of your country regain my trust and make you be proud of him. |

American don't want to threaten the world, but they still let a threat to be there.
Most of Chinese believe that US is trying its best to prevent, deter or at least delay China from getting richer, stronger. That could best serve the interest of US. |

I can acceopt the following quote with no problems.

Competition like the quote above is natural and acceptable, But terror like the quote below is unacceptable.

Boy rates,I agree with you,many Amercia don't hope the goverment of Amercia attacks every country,I have an old lady teacher now,she is an Amercia,I think she is very friendly,and she hope that every chinese students can learn english very well,she teachs very well.
Joon_star,you are a korean,I want to tell you, the emotion of chinese at TaiWan ,the same is the emotion of korean at Dokdo.By the way, I have a question,how do you think about the army of Amercia in korea? |

All Residents In Dokdo are Koreans and they want to stay in Koreans
As far as I know many residents in Taiwan want to be Taiwaneses rather than Chineses.

I have two feelings about American forces in Korea. The one is positive one, the other is negative one.
At the moment I'll tell you negative one first relating China.
Look at the following scenario.

(1) Taiwan declares independence.
(2) China invades Taiwan.
(3) America Forces attacks China.
(4) Japan joins the war.
(5) American Air Forces in Korea Attacks China or American missile launchs to China fron american Missile base in Korea.
(6) China's Air Forces or Chinese Missiles launchs to American base in Korea. ( This means Korean Forces automatically participate the war whether Korea want to participate or not.)
This scenario tells American military base leads Korean forces to automatically participate the war although Korea doesn't want to participate the war.
If American forces isn't in Korea, Korea may not participate the war. |
The above scenario is the negative side of American forces in Korea.
There are other negative sides.
And there are also positive sides of American forces in Korea.
But I'll tell you it when the proper time comes because it will be a long and complex story

Well,of course US would say it dosn't hope ,wherever it goes,it would say it hopes the peace of the world  but that doesn't mean it thinks so.History has proved ,where was the benefit,where was American army. Your talking seems that the war between the super power and growing power is inevitalbe sooner(in 10 years) or later(30 years later).
