Diana, you're buying the employment is a lagging indicator propaganda. Yes, employment is a lagging indicator, but the US has been outsourcing and losing jobs to cheaper overseas labor for years, with no reversal in sight.

We're not talking about uneducated workers either. India, China lead the way and hundreds of thousands of US jobs have been lost forever, in textiles, steel, autos, programming, etc.

Globalization is not all that it's cracked up to be, especially for those whose jobs can be done in India and China just as well as from the US.
