None of the above, but some are the reasons why I like him, or would choose him, if I needed.
I think it's worth to love someone who is willing to do everything just for you. And that is what I would die for.

Hm...Unfortunately, including love, nothing is perfect. Love is all about givings and takings. I still believe an angel only follows who can give more than what they take.

You are right - nothing is perfect.

I would say that love is all about both people giving. If it's "giving and taking" then it's commerce, not love.

Fromm also says that "giving is more important than taking and that real lovers would only give to each other without taking. But we also need to know what to give. "Love" is too abstract and in reality that's (or that should?) be understanding each other's disadvantages, being interested in each other's life and still wanting to give.

What I really mean is not about material wealth that someone can give, and the other one takes certainly, but something more related to emotions and the spiritual world.
