I have met mane Japanese girls in Canada. They are not like what you said about. They have their hope, their ambitions like other girls. You should not think bad about one country just because the history. History is history; people always want to be more happy. Just live peace.

stereotypes of Japanese women.

First for anyone who believes that there isn't pornography or prostitution or "lewd acts" being commited in their country, think again. They're there, they just happen to be underground, is all. The Japanese haven't cornered the porn market, that's for sure. Also, the Japanese pornographic industry is so bustling for the very reason that there are countries and societies (that are repressive) who buy it from Japan. There's more exporting of porn than domestic sales. And those who buy aren't any more moral. And lastly, these are only stereotypes anyway. Stereotypes and other uneducated generalizations make their believers look bad because it's thinking "inside the box". Challenge your own way of thinking and what others tell you to think. You'll be surprised at what you discover out there and about yourself.

i do not have any negative ideas about Jan gilrs. as you see, they are cute and... what's more, very kind and have enough confidence to overcome the difficulties ahead.
what autumn's saying is unrealistic. japan has been paying a lot for its debt. though, so far, as i know, people in other east asian courtries like china do not completely change their opinions formed in the past, on the other hand, janpanese has been changing a lot. a democrazy system has been built and been well preserving. the history, of course, can't and won't been played for a second time.
following autumn's tone, i dare say he live in china, so do i. we are holding the very spirit and hopes for the future, but unlike you(autumn), i am not holding the history memory such as hating. you can do nothing with it. a bright and peace future can only be created
in a low degree emotion of overacting.

by the way, i would say plenty of stuff in negetive of japan we can watch through media every day. but that's just one side. if we dim our momeory of the past times, we can learn more from jananese girls.

Comparing to all Asian countries, Japan tend to be more open-minded about sex. At least, they DO have bigger porno industry; however, the question is about Japanese girls, not porno. I just don't see why people would make such a link like that. It's so sexist.

As long as I see, Japanese girls are not necessarily only such ones.
Can you stop the talk of pornography for a while�? I think Japanese girls have gentle and pure heart in fact. (although it is not restricting to Japan) Because of it is fearful to hurt, they carry out the same appearance as everybody, and they are deceiving and walking by thick makeup.

I've read similar threads where people have said that they hate Japanese people because of history. I live in Japan and I am am Australian man teaching at a Junior High School in Ojiya, Niigata (where the earthquaje struck) and I can honestly say that the Japanese people I know are not the same as the generation who did those bad things over 50 years ago. They are the loveliest people I've ever met as they have always helped me whenever I needed help with a problem.

That is why I become angry whenever anyone says they hate the Japanese for what happened back then. The current generation did not do those things so for all those people who hate the Japanese because of World War 2 I have only one thing to say:

Adjust your watch because it is 50 years too slow!

As for Japanese girls, I do think that as a teacher they are open-minded and are interested in other cultures and are not as shy when talking to non-Japanese people.

the japanese girls i met are shy, cute and sometimes not very confident, for i have an idea on confidence. such as, covering your mouth when you're laughing is not a very confident thing to do.
besides, japanese females are still subordinate in their society. in a lot of films, the wife has to be very careful when they say something to their husbands, while the husband is rude.
so in my mind, the japanese girls are cute, lovely, white, clean, tiny, but lack of confidence and social status.

Um, one simple question: Who cares?

How are Japanese girls any different than Russian girls, French girls, American girls, Australian girls, Chinese girls, German girls, Brazillian girls, Tahitian girls, Icelandic girls, Finnish girls, Greek girls, and so on and so forth?

Just because there seems to be a large fascination with Asian (not necessarily Japanese) women among teenage/middle aged American men does not mean that they can simply be stereotyped.

Women are women, and each person's definition of beauty is different from the other.

P.S. The pornographic industry has nothing to do with Japan or its denziens; pornography is present in most of the world. Deal with it.

I think Japanese girls are cute, sweet, sexy, smart and intelligent.

Having said that, may I add that there are girls in other countries who too have all the above mentioned qualities. Anyways I would like to visit Japan sometimes and I really like the hard-working nature of Japanese people. In fact, given a chance I would like to know about their work culture. I have heard that in Japan people don't walk they run and that they work 18 hours a day. I really admire Japanese people(the girls included).

I don't care about pornographic industry in Japan. It exists everywhere. Every country has its share of good and evil. So does Japan.

Over all Japan is a good place and the girls, more so.
