Thank you , everyone! I am glad to talk about each culture or thinking with you. Nice to meet you. Let's enjoy together.
I thought Billy's opinion is very important. Yes, I also think that Japanese goverment must apologize to Chinese and also many Asian coutries. I have studied about the war between Japan and China. When I knew about facts, I was very shocked . I really want to apologize to Chinese and Taiwanese. We , Japanese, have to know about truth more and more. We have a responsibility that we learn from history . I would very much like to be a bridge between Japan and Asian countries. We can make friendship beyond government!

Thank you for your message!I also like sports very much. When I was a high school student, I was member of valleyball club. I also belonged to tennis club! We can feel refreshed with sports.
STA is a test that has 2 subjest, math and verbal. People who want to enter university in America have to take this test.
Personally, I think that Japanese students are quiet in class as comparison with other country's students. However, of course , there are also active students. As for me, I always ask teachers many questions and say my opinion. Because in my college most classes are small class. But in Japan, most university students do not have discussion class or small class. Therefore, many people can not ask or announce thier opinions.
Please enjoy your sports meeting and make a good memory with your friends Good luck!!I am looking forward to your enjoyable story about sport meeting.
Everyone!!
Have a nice week!!! I have a TOEFL test in the near future so I am busy recently. Maybe ,I can not reply to your massages immediately, but I come back here on 30th. |

The Japnese and Chinese should know more about each other. For Chinese, the history is a big problem between China & Japan. We like Japanese friends, but we hope the Japan government give the Asia a clear answer to the history. I know some Japanese friends. They know the history problem. And they hope to do something for it. I think the friendship would help all of us to resolve some problems and make the world more beautiful. |
hi billy glad to hear your words I think there is too much misunderstanding between china and japan. partly because of japan government's misleading .certainly some chinese will take the blame.
And hello everyone . I am a chinese college student . I like english,

Long time no see! How are you? I was able to sleep only 3 hours yesterday because of study for TOEFL. So I feel a little bit tired today.
But we are young , so now is the time to challenge everything!!!
3days ago, I watched a TV program about disparity in economic power in China. I was surprised with growth of Shanghai. Shanghai is bigger than Tokyo. It is great. However, in China many people who live in a village can not go to school. But children would very much like to learn a lot.
In addition, a Chinese girl who is in a village said ,"I want to make my parents happy and want to serve for my villege, so I want to study . "
I was impressed. I thought that she do not have money but she have a noble and splendid heart.
I hope that every children can study regardless of rich or poor. We have to improve educational system all over the world.
have a nice day, everyone! |

Hi ayu-sakura Nice to see you and your words.
I think Japanese are very friendly ,though in china some medium usually give reports that Japanese are truthless and ruthless, and you give me this feeling. a Japanese girl of kindness. obloquy and suspicious will badly harm our relationship and friendship.
And you said you are taking the TOEFl test ,i kown it is a very hard test. you must be a very diligent and clever girl . Did the university you applied ask you GRE scores ?
When you talk about ,"I want to make my parents happy and want to serve for my villege, so I want to study . " I feel very sad . because in terms of elemental education ,china is far behind other Asain countries, for instance Japan, korean , India. The educational spending of chinese government is not enough. I think it isn't compatiable with chinese economic strenth. china must learn from Japan.
^_^ hope for your reply |

Thank you. How about your TOEFL. I alos took it In Aug. I am reparing for applying the USA schools now. What school do you want to apply?
I think the history is not so easy to judge it ture or not, because the history maetrails are writen by people. Different people have different attitudes. Like Taiwan, China mainland and Japan all use the ideas that stand up on their sides. So we all need understand the two sides. The peace is not easy to gain. So hope we can build one bridge to know each other here. _________________ MSN: [email protected]

But I feel sorry that some chinese maybe not love their country so much.
Taiwan or China,I think they cannot be mentioned at the same class.Taiwan belongs to China, everyone should remember.
Excuse for my poor English and I'll apologize if there are some misunderstandings caused by it.
Sorry to break in and bye. |

Hello, ayumi:
I am glad to see you message here again! I am fine so far, and the mid-term exams is almost coming, so i need to spend some time prepare for them, prison law, penalty, criminal law policy, criminology, criminal sociology, etc. Those are my exams. I don't spend enough time several weeks before, so i will be very busy on it!
The sport meeting just came to the end last saturday! I had a fun at that moment, I went to join the cross-country race, 5.5km. It took me 31 minutes to finish the whole distance, i placed the 241 in this race, umm......it seems like the previous record is better than the present! I had joined the race twice, one is freshman and another is this time! When i was freshman, i placed about 120. But it is ok, i will keep practicing. Do you know, there are two men i admired so much in this race, one is from kenya and another is native taiwanese. It seems like the african people are very good at running, i feel so amased! Another person is our national athlete, he had joined the super marathon, so no wonder he is the champion!
Besides, there are also beautiful firework and great cheering squad compitition! My school let off the firework twice in the sport meeting, we had about fifteen minutes splendid firework, and we could sit very near the place it let off! Another is excellent cheering squad compitition, why i like it so much, it is because a lot of people cooperate to perform, they could have different ideas about the squad, action, sound, props, etc. I like this kind of activity, it's not only splendid but it also shows our creativity and cooperation.
This is all i felt about the sport meeting, it is really good to exercise, so don't always stay in the classroom, go out for exercise! Take care!

Ayumi:
Sorry, i am quite busy recently, so i don't reply you soon. I had written a article lately, it is about a trip to my teacher's house. I really want to share precious things with you, so enjoy it. And hope you are ok now, take care. Keep in touch.
frankie.
Feeling after the Trip to the Michaels Farm
Michael is one of our associate professors in our school, and he opened a free class for the students in our school, I am so grateful for what he did for us. He not only wanted to help our English but also wanted to broaden our horizon. Let me introduce my third time to the farm and how we enjoy the activity.
First at all, we, four people, who are from the English club, introduced ourselves to Michael. I introduced what I did to them instead of introducing myself. I am not new here. Last time we climbed the independent mountain, which is nearby the farm. It was a very good trip for me and others. Finally, we come back with the rising moon; the moon is so bright and round. I liked it very much! I said.
Second, Michael corrected some of our mistakes in English, and I very appreciated that. Like the differences between where are you from and where do you come from, some pronunciations (issue, rape&rap, club, place), the differences between hear from and learn from.
Third, Michael told us his studying experiences, he majored in zoology in the first university in Taiwan, and he was a doctor while serving in the military, it is incredible, right? But it is an unusual example, so you dont feel scared. Thereafter, he decided to go to the U.S. for further study. Before he went to US, his English isnt very good. Michael studied in three schools in the U.S. One is in Ivy League University, which the tuition is very expensive, the second one I forgot, and third one in the Rice University in Houston. Michael went to the U.S. not only for Ph.D., green card, and work. But he also wanted to be a real American in the U.S. What dose it mean? I think we cant go to the foreign culture just for the superficial things. However, we should be really involved in their life and learn some of their culture. It is a very important idea, I really appreciated Michael gave me this good idea. Michael spent a large amount of time learning their culture, and finally he become the western gentleman and was as knowledgeable as the American scholars.
During this period of time, he also talked about the poems. He had once delivered his poem to one university in Mainland China. And at the moment, all the audiences gave him a thunderous applause. He talked a lot about the language; he found he had a talent for the language. He also criticized the translation in our country. There are a lot of bad translations in Taiwan, so you had better read the article in the original version, he said.
He also talked about the china, he said the china students are so diligent, you may not believe that, they study almost around the clock in order to achieve academic excellence and get great-paying job. The china students who can study in the U.S. are the top of the top. It is so amazing, isnt it? I know the china students now are famous for their hardworking, a lot of people often like to talk about that to us, ok, that is fine.
In the U.S. now, the discrimination is better than before; you would be taken to the court only because of your dirty words. The law enforcement is so serious, compared to us. But in Japan, Michael said, the situation now is worse than the U.S. (sorry my Japan friend) You say whatever you want, it doesnt hurt any more!
Michael also talked about the log cabin in the farm; a number of people asked him how you built this beautiful log cabin. Nothing, I just wanted to have this kind of farm and then took actions to carried them out, that is all. It is not incredible to own this farm and log cabin; I just did them without thinking too much. Michael said. It is very important to me, all too often, we just dream about something, we have a plenty of daydreams and never take action to carry them out, it is very bad. Be brave and determined, dont hesitate, go for it and let your dreams come true!
It was a very good afternoon; we learned a lot for Michael, I was so happy. I think I will keep going there to chat with Michael. Michael, I am so grateful for what you did for us, thanks. |

Nice to meet you, Mia!
frankie, thank you for showing me your essay!
I am able to learn and also discover new things from your essay.
I also have good teacher. An encounter with great teacher is our treasure, isn't it?
Recently, in Japan it is getting colder. Especially Hokkaido prefecture, it snowed 30cm yesterday.
These days , Korean star is very popular in Japan. Especially, middle-aged women involve in Korean young man stars.
I do not involve in Korean stars, but I am interested in Korea. I want to go there in the future. So, someday I will try to learn Korean. I want to speak English and Chinese fluently. Now, I study Chinese in the class. I enjoy studying Chinese, because we , Japanese, also use a Chinese character . Therefore, I feel warm affection for Chinese.
Everyone, do you have a language which you want to speak?
Recently, I am very busy for studying of TOEFL. So, I can not reply your massage soon. But I will come back here!
Have a nice day! See you |
