Very interesting, Helen. Thank you.
We also use ladies/mens room, and we use little girls/boys room when we are being playful.
I have one more to add to the list: Where we say bar, you say pub... right? Sometimes we have bars where Pub is part of the name, and we might refer to that as "the pub," but generally we call them bars.

Hi Bud
We have both pubs and bars... as well as clubs.
Pubs are generally more 'traditional' establishments.... apart from lager/wine/spirits this is usually the home of beer - (not the same as lager)
Bars are 'more upmarket' generally modern design and tend more not to sell beer
