well i was talking about the similarity between English and Arabic when Criollo said.... " while asians (including all asia) have more trouble because they have complet different language and sounds"...
so i still think that what he meant is that all the ASian languages are completely different to English....
maybe i'm wrong as you said .. thanks anyway. |

In my opinion...Germans are the best at ESL. They speak English better than some native speakers....(understandably since English is a decendant of the German language) |

I think generaly the Dutch speak good english also because we do not translate american movies to our own language. only with subtitles. also almost every dutch word can be directly translated to english.. when i look at japanese for example they have a completely different way of word order and some words in english don't exist in some asian languages. I think that is why it's more difficult for asians to learn english. I think that many europeans speak good english. well that's just my opinion  |
