PostPosted: Fri Dec 24, 2004 4:16 am    Post subject: Merry Chrismas & Happy New Year! Reply with quote

Hello, my dear ayumi:
Today is a special night, Christmas eve, so first, I wanna say merry Christmas and happy New Year to you. Although Chinese should not celebrate this festival, I think the Christmas is one of the treasures on the earth and we need to share the happiness with one another, it isnt only belonging to the western, this is my feeling.

How are you now? I am fine, busy as usual, a little bit sad, and a little bit excited. I feel sad about this is almost the end of the 2004, and I havent finished a lot of my 2004 new years resolution. I am excited about the New Year is going to come, and so does our Chinese new year. I like the Chinese New Year so much. Because I can tasted my fathers cooking again. Though my fathers cooking is not very good, but it is kind of affection we need to cherish. Now I am busy at schoolwork, but everything is under control, so I am fine. I dont have many exams but piles of reports. Reports are much easier than exams.

About the next years resolution, ummm.i think first I will review this year well, and then i will start to think my future and goals after the first task. Life is a lot of knowledge, and you can not finish your learning. Life is full of challenges, explorations, exciting things, and happiness, you know, it is so great to be a human and to live in this world to learn. I wish you can also enjoy your life, too.

Finally, I wish you have a good time during this festival season.

Hello, everyone! Thank you for your message .
and I am sorry I couldn't replay your message so long.

I enjoyed very much my winter vacation! I had Chiristmas party with my sister's family. Also, I watched movies and met many friends in my junior high school days. I was able to relax very much in my hometown!

In Japan, we have the custom of writing a New Year's card for our friends and relatives. We send this card to exchange greetings. I like this custom, because handwritten cards make my heart warm. I sent this card more than 50 last year. Of course, I wrote message each of them. I also tried to send this card in this year. However ,recently, many friends did not send New Year's cards. They use e-mail, because e-mail is convenient and easier. I am sad about it. I do not want to lose good customs.
So, I will continue to write New Year's card every year!

What did you do in this winter vacation?

happy new year! My father also cooked dinner for me. This taste is so-so, but I was very glad of his sincerity!
