hmm.. difficult question.
which right do you mean exactly? or do you just mean the general legislation in germany?
the development of the german democracy has had a quite good start in the time before Hitler, too, i think.
there were some loopholes in the law which helped Hitler to come to power and to do it the way he did.
I really hope that the Germans will not forget what can lead to such a horrible scenario.. although they seem to have it already forgotten sometimes. sad, but true, the memory seems to be a little holey with such things.
you can see that just now in the campaign for the elections on sept 18th.. I live in the rural district of Munich, and in my electoral ward there is one candidate from the NPD (natonalistic party of Germany) who is classiffied by the Munich regional court as a "violent Neonazi" and is even previously convicted several times. Is this believable?! he's actually eligible! as a previously convicted neonazi! that says just everything, doesn't it?
about the german economy, that's split. the external economy, so to say, the export and so on, is quite good. But the internal, national economy of Germany is really bad.. even poland is better than us although that's probably the only thing in which poland is economically better than germany. But i hope it will get better over the years now..
