oooh, you're optimistic! a newspaper wrote about the a-bomb distribution over the world, as far as it's known.
there are at least 22 000 nuclear weapons in the world.
USA holds about the half, 10 656 war heads.
Then comes Russia with 10 000 war heads.
China has a lot more than fifty, namely 402 nuclear weapons.
France has got 348.
Israel has got about 200.
Britain has got 185 nuclear war heads.
Pakistan and India have between 30 and 40 or 50 nuclear war heads each.
north korea has at least one a-bomb,
and what Iran hides is still open, but it's really likely that it has got one or more.
so if you say, the USA and Britain are allies there are together more than the half of all nuclear weapons on one side, at least.
it's anyway astonishing - and of course a luck - that so far no terrorists could have built a real nuclear bomb.
so, consider this when you worry about a third world war in 2006. if it's for real, then we don't have to worry about oil or the climate anymore..

One version of that I've heard:For nations who possess only a few nukes,to fight against a nuclear giant nation or to get rid of its nuclear threat the only way is to set off her very limited nukes at once when danger is coming,towards else nuclear possessed nations with a programmed equipment for binding the entire world leaps into hell together,because others would do so.You know it's like a circle which will use out the last one abomb human being has produced.
I have no idea how exact it was,maybe it was completely made up by someone,but really awful anyway. |

Oh, I think I see!
For example:
N. Korea wants to stop the U.S. but it really doesn't have enough missiles to completely destroy the U.S. Not a problem. It only needs to launch a few missiles. The U.S. would automatically launch their missiles to retaliate. Russia & China detect the launch of U.S. missiles and thinks it is an attack against them, so, use 'em or lose 'em, they launch their missiles against the U.S. Britain detects the launch of Russian missiles and thinks they are attacking the EU, so they launch their missiles against Russian targets. Also, Israel detects Russian launches and thinks maybe they are being attacked and launches their missiles, resulting in Pakistan launching theirs, resulting and India launching theirs, and so on... end of civilization. |

| more or less,NKwont launch nuclear attack agaginst the US for they have no effective carrier to sent an abomb across half the earth and strike a target somewhere in America,so if it's attacked by the US with abomb,base of US stationed in Japan or SK will be the target,but maybe it will lead to the same end |

hm..
 why are the politicians around the world just so stupid to blow each other up in such a horrible way?!? if they'd like to die so soon they should commit suicide! let us peaceful people alone with your stupid bomb stuff!! 
sorry  i know i have overreacted, but i just can't understand the attitude of these people who give the command to launch. don't they think at least a little bit of the targeted people?! the children and women and men?! i can't believe that!
i've heard a reportage of the a-bomb launch in hiroshima, where the pilot or whoever has actually dropped it, has said that he doesn't regret it at all. can you imagine that? he knew there where hundred thousands of innocent people in the town and he dropped it anyway..
okay, maybe he was convinced with arguments like "we have to stop this war" "see what they've done in pearl harbour" etc. but he hasn't changed his opinion later.
ohgod, if i think too much about such an issue i really get scared about the future..

If it's any consolation, they are not, and they haven't (yet).
Think about it. Since Nagasaki, the world's nations have collectively built over 20,000 atomic and nuclear weapon and exploded over 500 of them. But in the past 60 years since the end of WWII, none have been used in anger against an enemy's territory. Cooler heads have prevailed so far. |
