Is there a difference between *jabbering* and *gibbering*?
Thanks |

To gibber means to speak in a way that is hard to understand because you are ill, cold, or frightened.
He was so frightened that he was gibbering and I could not understand what he was saying.
He was talking gibberish.
To jabber is also to speak in a way that is difficult to understand but you speak very quickly and with a lot of enthusiasm, especially in a way that is not sensible.
Hey! Slow down! I know you are excited about your new job but you are jabbering. |
