If you are a BSB fan, please read the following petition:
Dear MTV,
This petition is written by Backstreet Boys' fans all around the world ..It was a huge shock for us to find out that MTV refuses to play Backstreet Boy's videos and particulary the new single Just Want You To Know..First of all,It's totally undeniable that the Backstreet Boy's are one of the most successful bands all over the world and that they have millions of fans that love them and will always do..and that they are still successful and still loved!and it IS also undeniable that the Backstreet Boys is one of the main reasons for making TRL what it is now..and TRL owes the Backstreet Boys a lot..Is that how you thank them???by not counting the votes to their video..Second,,since when it's MTV's decision to view or ignore videos..I mean there is a phone line for voting and also an internet voting then it's the VIEWER's choice that counts ..otherwise why wasting our times voting when you won t count our votes..and if the show about what do people want..people want BSB we want BSB!!and ignoring the people's votes won't change this facts and won't stop the so called 'Pop explosion'..third,Mtv is supposed to be a music channel!!It should be a reflexion of what music is about ..and music is about love and justice..and I don t think that preventing loyal BSB fans and good music listeners from seeing such a wonderful video just like Just Want You To Know has anything to do with jusictice..also I don t think that standing in some real ,wonderful and talented entertainer's road and keeping their voices and their music from reaching the world has anything to do with justice..So MTV and it is one of the biggest music channels doesn t follow the concept of music which is really a SHAME!
I hope this unfairness will stop NOW~~
from the backstreet pride keepers all over the world!

hey fans!
we have all been talking through many threads in the BSB Weird World Fanclub about what we can do about the boys and this whole MTV issue.

here is the plan.... we are going to meet in NYC to protest MTV on September 15. we are going to be there when they are filming TRL so that we can be SEEN AND HEARD.

makes signs, wear shirts, hats, whatever you want. this is our chance to be heard that we are happy that BACKSTREET IS BACK, ALRIGHT???

we are the fans and we need to make the boys proud. as of right now, we dont know what time we will be there, so keep the whole day free.

if you want to make a difference and be there, send an email letting us know that you will be there at [email protected] If you cannot be there, it is fine!!

if you want to go, but think that you can't get to NY, email [email protected] explaining that you want to go and where you will be coming from. Also explain where you heard about this from. People can carpool. it's important that we make a HUGE showing.

but basically this is wat i got so far...

1 the date.. we need that.. its the most important.. is sep 9th good for u all?? (We think so)

2 signs posters.. whatever

3 i think we should all wear BSB shirts.. i had like 20 or 30 extra bsb shirts to give out.. and if n e 1 has extra shirts.. that are older or whateva that they can give away to bsb fans thatd b great

4 music.. we need someone to bring a stereo or somethang to blasts JWYTK

5 flyers.. someone who knows how to make flyers plzzz help me out.. volunteer ureself lol

6 petition.. like i said.. i need someone whose good at doing that kind of stuff to make up a petition thang to take to concerts.. so if u can do it plzzz volunteer

7 for those who cant make it.. CALL CALL CALL!! call MTV.. call ure local news people.. even if u arent in NYC.. if it spreads thru other CBS stations or NBC or whateva.. itll get spread..

8 i need people to help me out wit this.. so plllzzzz volunteer.

9 i have someone working on this.. but we are going to get someone to find out when EXACTLY they are taping that day.. and we'll stand out b4 the show.. during the show.. and after the show.. (this may be at least 3 hours of work)

10 i say not only do we have BSB posters.. but SPHYNKTER as well.. BE CREATIVE!! all of those who r good at creativity.. create the signs.. logos whateva.. and make extra for the rest of the fans too.. cuz we gonna need it...

11 WE NEED COOPERATION!! okay.. if we are going to do this we are going to need to stick togetha.. everyone helps everyone out.. this is for BSB.. not a time to be selfish.. were gonna help everyone else out.. if u bring.. bring to share and care.. signs to share.. extra shirts if u have them.. extra bsb posters.. those of u who try to sell ure stuff or have it hiding in the closet.. go dig it up to bring...
